World Environment Day

The Christchurch Catholic Justice and Peace Commission invites you to participate in World Environment Day on 5th June. This year the focus is on solutions to plastic pollution. Single-use plastic plagues New Zealand rivers and beaches but there are many easy and simple ways you can reduce this plastic pollution:
Avoid using plastic straws.
Bring your own water bottle and coffee cup to work.
Choose food with no plastic packaging.
Avoid using plastic bags at the supermarket.
Use glass containers instead of plastic.
Recycle plastics, glass, cardboard, and cans.
