A MARIST ON MISSION – AN INSIGHT INTO LIFE AND FAITH IN OUTBACK BRAZIL
Golden Catholics are delighted to host Father Michael Mahoney SM, South Westland Parish Priest, as our first guest speaker for 2023.
Join together for Mass before Fr Michael shares tales of working as a priest in the semi-desert outback of Brazil for many years. As well as working in far-flung parishes he initiated many projects to benefit the lives of the locals.
The presentation offers an insight into the life and faith of a unique and fascinating people and culture. A light lunch will follow.
