Cathedral Parish – Admin Support

Cathedral Parish is seeking a dynamic team member for the role of Admin Support. This ‘front of house’ part time role (16 hours/pw) would suit a person who has an understanding of the nature of parish as sharing in the mission of Jesus Christ to the World.
The successful candidate will have a warm and engaging personality, being as they are first point of contact in assisting parishioners and visitors to the parish office. The role calls for the preparation of all communications including the Sunday Newsletter, posts on Facebook, the Parish App and the parish website; administrative support to our pastoral team and priests, proficiency in the use of Elvanto (or similar database), excellent communication skills and an ability to work enthusiastically as part of a team. Personal engagement in the life of Cathedral Parish would be preferred but not essential.

Cathedral Parish – Attendance Dues Debt Recovery/Finance Support

(One-Year FIXED TERM CONTRACT)
Cathedral Parish is looking for someone to join our administrative team in the role of Attendance Dues Recovery. This small (4 hours per week) but important role calls for someone with good accounts receivable skills that can be applied in a Catholic caring way. Some of this role may be undertaken from home outside of business hours.

Clergy Health Coordinator

The Bishop has an oversight over the wellbeing of his priests. On his behalf, the Diocese seeks to employ a Health Coordinator to ensure their medical welfare and general well-being are supported.

A vacancy now exists for this part-time position. The successful candidate will have a nursing practising certificate the ability to be flexible with his / her time to be able to provide an adequate service.

This is an important position in the care of our priests. Having an affinity with the Catholic faith, the Coordinator will have the ability to relate to the priests in their overall health needs. The Clergy Health Coordinator will visit and meet with clergy to make assessments and to provide the necessary support, advice and guidance.
