The Higher Committee of Human Fraternity comprises a diverse set of international religious leaders, educational scholars and cultural leaders.
The committee has called on religious leaders and faithful around the world to a day of fasting, prayers and supplications for the good of all humanity on Thursday, May 14 for an end to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
In response to this call, the Canterbury Interfaith Society has coordinated for religious leaders and congregations from within New Zealand to offer a short video prayer for the day. We hope this video assists you in your spiritual life, and serves as a concrete sign of friendship and solidarity among faith groups within Aotearoa / New Zealand.
