On Saturday morning Father Frank Kelly died peacefully at Nazareth House.
Fr Frank was born in Invercargill in 1941.
After attending St Bede’s College he entered Holy Name Seminary at Mosgiel, then being ordained by Bishop Ashby in 1966
Fr Frank ministered in many parishes in the diocese and in more latter years was priest chaplain for the prisons in Christchurch – a ministry he was passionate about.
May he rest in peace.
Due to the current Covid 19 restrictions, we are limited to a maximum of 100 people for the funeral.
The Bishop is working with the family regarding who will be able to attend the funeral. The funeral will be live streamed and a link will be posted here
A memorial Mass will be held at a later date when we can gather in larger numbers.
