St John of God National Manager Mission Integration (Fixed-Term)

St John of God Hauora Trust is a Catholic not-for-profit organisation. We are seeking a quality Mission Executive to promote and further develop the leadership capacity and capability of leadership for Mission among our senior leaders and managers in St John of God Hauora Trust’s Services.

Based in Christchurch and reporting to the CEO, this is a fixed-term role until July 2022 covering parental leave working 20 hours per week and requires a practising Catholic with strong leadership skills, capable of working with a diverse range of stakeholders to integrate Mission within our organisational culture.

The National Manager Mission Integration is responsible for Pastoral Services, as well as, developing, presenting and facilitating formation programmes for all employees of St John of God Hauora Trust as well as the Board. The successful candidate will have a track record of implementing formation programmes as well as an understanding and strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

All applicants to demonstrate the following:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferably post-graduate) in Theology, Scripture, Ethics, Ministry or related studies.
• Ability to influence organisation culture and lead Mission integration.
• Demonstrated ability to develop the leadership abilities of senior leaders and managers to align with, and promote, organisational Mission, Vision and Values.
• Demonstrated understanding and application of key theological principles to all aspects of Mission aligned leadership.

Catholic Parish of Greymouth – Youth Worker Vacancy

A 36 month contract, commencing as soon as practical to work with young people year 7 to 13.

This part time role will run weekly meetings of the Parish Youth where the members are taught core elements of their Catholic Faith, where members are strengthened in their Faith journey and where members have fun and fellowship with other Youth.
